Rome, 18 November 2025 — The SPARK consortium officially launched its two-year Erasmus+ cooperation partnership with a two-day kick-off meeting hosted by CRES in Rome. Representatives of all six partners — SOML (NL), Stichting Incubator (NL), youTHrive (MT), CRES (IT), San Ġorġ Preca College (MT) and Kauno Simono Daukanto Progimnazija (LT) — came together to align on goals, finalise work-package planning and run the project’s first joint design sprint.
What the kick-off covered
- Shared understanding of SPARK’s mission and the role of each partner
- Detailed planning of the first six months — including the WP2 country-by-country needs assessment
- Signing of the partnership agreement and ethical-compliance framework
- First storyboarding session for WP3’s virtual escape room
- Agreement on the visual identity and on the public website you’re reading right now
Next steps
Work package 2 (gap analysis) started immediately after the kick-off. Teachers in all four countries will be consulted throughout winter 2025 and spring 2026, feeding into the SPARK curriculum framework due in summer 2026.
