Half-year check-in — training concept on track for July

Six months in, SPARK closes the data-gathering phase and pivots toward content production. The training concept lands by end of July; the first WP3 modules follow in Q3.

Half-way through the first project year, the consortium met online on 19 June for a status check. The headline: WP2 has delivered (national reports done, eighteen best practices collected, curriculum framework drafted), and WP3 production is opening up.

What’s locked in

  • National reports: Four submitted, synthesis underway. Findings already shape the curriculum framework.
  • Best practices: Eighteen examples collected across NL, MT, IT and LT; uniform descriptions produced via a shared generator.
  • Training concept: Targeted for end of July 2026 — bringing the curriculum framework into a teacher-facing format that supports the April 2027 transnational training event in Leeuwarden.
  • Document organisation: All partner outputs now mirrored in the shared Google Drive by partner and activity, ready for the upcoming production phase.

What’s next

Production of the first WP3 outputs — three animated videos, the first interactive e-learning modules and the virtual escape room scaffolding — opens in Q3 2026. The full set of eight videos (×4 languages = 32 localised versions) is planned for Q2 2027, just before classroom piloting.

Behind the scenes: Guido continues coordination while recovering from a recent bike accident; Alma (WP2 lead) handed off the data work into the curriculum framework; CRES (Annalisa) prepares for its quality-assurance role across the production phase.
